Hi,
I tried MyZilla for the first time today after needing a tool where I can create many new bugs after/during a lengthy testing session. I found that MyZilla almost meets my needs for this, apart from the following things:
1) The connection definitions should not require you to have a password, so that it is not saved anywhere on disk. If there is no password when a connection attempt is made then MyZilla should prompt for the password and remember it for the session.
2) When I press Ctrl-Enter to submit the new bug I sometimes an error saying "Length cannot be less than zero. Parameter name: length". But what length is it? I have filled in the fields I need and the ones that are required (as far as I can see)? This seems to happen when I start MyZilla, start a new bug by pressing Ctrl-N, using the default field values, type in a subject and one line description.
3) Related to the above, if I click on Retry it returns to the new bug window, but the new bug window is in the background (which is not obvious). If you click Retry I would think that it should automatically retry to submit the same data. If I click "Cancel" it cancels to whole new bug window, losing me whatever I have already typed. I would expect that it should return me to the "new bug" window to correct whatever mistake I made.
4) It would be very nice if you could drag and drop files onto the attachment list.
5) It would be even nicer if you could paste from the clipboard into the attachment list (and I mean just Ctrl-V, not having to use a wizard to select the clipboard as some other Bugzilla clients use). Being able to paste into the description, and if the clipboard does not contain text add it as an attachment, would be ideal.
6) I found that mostly the new bug window remembers the previously used fields. This is very good, but it doesn't always remember the values (for example, if I get a length cannot be less than zero error). Most fields are remembered but some fields are not remembered at all (Component, CC, severity, priority). They should all be remembered, or if they are using the defaults, would it be possible to add a new bug window which always remembers all the previous values (except attachments)?
7) Attachment filename text is black when the highlighted background is blue. It makes it very difficult to read.
8) Being able to resize the new bug window would be useful.
Thanks. Hopefully you can address some of these to improve what looks to be a very nice product.
